Agnetha Faltskog
Agnetha faltskog is primarily known for her role as a soloist from Sweden. In reality, she'll forever be remembered as a past member of ABBA, the world's most popular and commercially successful pop band. After leaving school at the age of 15 to take on a music career, she soon found herself singing in the band of Bernt Enghardt as well as gaining a following. Through Enghardt, she secured a record deal and soon made it to the top charts in Sweden through her debut release. Bjornulvaeus, who she later wed was her husband and she was a part of ABBA. Over the course of eight years, the group would be one of the most successful rock groups around the globe that won numerous gold and platinum awards around the globe. After ABBA was released, she had three albums -'Wrap Your Arms Around Me' as well as 'Eyes Of A Woman as well as 'I Stand Alone'. Each with great success in Sweden and gained acclaim throughout Europe and beyond, but she was never able to make an impact on the U.S. In the late '80s, as her career ended her career took an informal retirement. The music of ABBA was the focus of a musical jukebox called "Mamma Mia!. Her return from retirement to make 'My Color Book' that peaked at eleven at the top of U.K. charts. Her latest Album "A," has received a positive reception.
